I think there's a critical mass to keep any board
rolling and i'm not sure whether we reach that point. there need to be
enough regulars to keep things ticking over even when the main posters
are busy elsewhere. everyone goes through natural cycles of involvement
and i'm not sure here's much you can do to force the issue and make
people post.
so um yeah, need more people i reckon. afraid i'm useless on this score
- i kinda divide my online personas up and try to keep them separate, i
wouldn't be happy if they all linked up. this feels like my personal
space, whereas elsewhere i don't mind being out in the open for anyone
to wander in off the street onto. so i wouldn't be happy publicising
here elsewhere iyswim and i'm just generally internet paranoid so i'd
rather limit how easily stalkable i am
I feel kind of bad about this topic, as a lurker for workload/fatigue reasons rather than anything to do with the board. I always find plenty to read/be interested in and would hate for it not to be here
Please don't feel bad. I think we know, respect and
appreciate that people can often only find time to read, and post
occasionally.
My concern is more about a sudden lull in posts, and I guess I'm
wondering whether there's something that's bothering our regulars. Of
course there's always the possibillity that people have just gone off
and found other stuff to do with their time, lol!
I think there's some truth in NM's point about critical mass. We're not
there yet. I used to hang out on a range of other boards, and would
regularly suggest that people drop by to this board. But I have been too
busy to do that lately. The google ad picks up the odd person here and
there, but I don't think it's enough in the long term to get things
moving.
I'm really looking for insights and suggestions - definitely not looking
to make anyone feel guilty about their posting patterns
Well, I definitely read more than post.... I read most
of the debates, but only jump in occasionally.
I think, for me, it is the same thing that causes writers block ......
sometimes a bit of freewriting is fine; there is no need to have a
perfectly constructed paragraph every time ! But I find myself writing
an overly simplistic response ( like the one I typed in response to Nick
Levinson a few moments ago ) and then almost regret it; because the
calibre of this board makes me want to up the quality quotient in my
posts !
Then I go over to a general debating board or parenting website and have
what I call unselfconscious trivial fun.Where I can use crap grammar,
poor spelling and turn of phrase but not care as much.
Not that I think this board is not a fun place. It is. I love it here.
It is my favourite discussion board on the web. But sometimes I feel
reluctant to besmirch its good character with anything too fluffy and
lite, iyswim ?
Or maybe I am too uptight ?! Probably.
I need more of the `fuck it ` in my personality.

This is an "international " Forum of these parasits. These white stupid fakemales are only shits. How many times you heard that How good they are in writing and spelling and....
When there is a man around, they have to show to him that they are "perfect" in ...
As soon as they are with their tribe, they are tired of faking. It is all fake to you and me. there is nothing good in their existence.
The quality and deepness of the discussions remains to you to judge LOL
