It's about equal, 50/50.   Now tell me, which "overall statistics" on domestic violence, did you happen to bang your head on?     If you are new and unfamiliar with these facts, then please, understand my bewilderment at such a statement and I'll understand the fact the media have duped you just about the same as most people.   If you are not new and are disagreeing with the common knowledge of various groups in a number of different countries - then kindly back that statement up with peer-reviewed, gender-neutral studies of abuse - not prosecutions, not police reports, not media slanting, not accusations in custody disputes or anyplace else, - just gives us the facts on established abuse between sexes.   I will tell you know and save you time, you will not find any that suggest a difference between the sexes of more than 10% either way - except lesbians, by far the most violent partners of all.   Before I go, a little scenario for you:   You're in a bar, you hear a couple arguing. A man and a woman are getting more and more heated, many people in the bar turn to watch as the argument reaches a cresendo.
